These pictures were from classes held in the greenhouse at the Apeiron Center for Sustainable Living. These workshops were held during the summer 08 Sustainable Living Festival over a two day period. There were several workshops that were open to any and all and were two hours long. The first focused on using natural materials to create garden art that would be suitable for year round exterior locations. The second focused on creative re-use of materials that were bright and colorful and had been recycled and were easy to use for any age. At one point there were 12 people building mosaics in the green house ranging from 8 to 70 years old. We were having a heat wave, it was 90+ degrees in the room and everyone was having a great time!
