Apeiron Workshop: These pictures were from classes held in the greenhouse at the Apeiron Center for Sustainable Living.  These workshops were held during the summer 08 Sustainable Living Festival over a two day period. There were several workshops that were open to any and all and were two hours long. The first focused on using natural materials to create garden art that would be suitable for year round exterior locations. Advanced Pebble Mosiac: In October of 2008 I went to Seattle to teach four professional mosaic artists how to create pre-cast pebble mosaics at the invitation of Kelley and she hosted  the class in her studio. The resulting mosaic (PebbleSunQuads) went to the Boys and Girls Club of Seattle (B&G club) ( PDF Sun Location) the mosaic was installed over the winter under the direction of Landscape Architect Susan Black and Kelley Knickerbocker and advice from me.

Extreme Makeover Home Edition: In December of 2008 I was invited to be on Karen Oakley’s decorative painting team. She is the owner and principal of Faux Real Decorative Painting in Mystic CT. That’s all I thought I was doing but then as fate would have it she gave my card to the show designers and they asked me to do the mosaic in the kitchen for the stove backsplash. Thanks Karen.
