These images are interior architectural installations that I have completed over a period of years. All of these pieces are constructed in my studio in sections and are transported or shipped to the site ready to be installed. Most of the time I am at the site with at least one or two tillers and or carpenters to install the piece. The method of fabrication will vary based on the location of the installations we will talk about that at the initial consultation to determine the best course of action. Fabrications have been done on mesh, thinset beds, backer board, wediboard, cement board and glass on glass. Many of the pieces are built in sections to allow for easy install and better packing and transporting of the mosaics. Most of these pieces are exposed to water, grease or heat on a regular basis and are completely up to task for the wear and tear of daily life. No more maintenance is required for these pieces than for regular tile.

Installations have included various sized backsplashes, an entire shower wall and floor as well as small insets into existing or new tile work. Materials are always chosen for suitability and durability but there is no end to the subject matter- Jobs have ranged from flying fish to colorful swirling abstracts. If you can dream it up I can design, build and install it for you. Please be aware that I am NOT a carpenter, nor am I a professional tile layer. To that end we will use professionals that I have worked with before or that you have worked with so that the job goes smoothly and is installed properly.
